Handmade Greeting Cards

I love being an author.  It means I get to be creative, and being creative is definitely part of my personality.

I guess you could say it’s a lifestyle.

Over the years, I’ve done a lot of creative things.  I play guitar (for fun), freehand drawing, painting, and more.

About eleven years ago I discovered cardmaking. And it quickly pulled me in.  I love it!  It’s so relaxing for me, and I find the process to be so much fun, and very relaxing.

I even have a blog on cardmaking that I started about a year and a half ago. Cardmaking is such a fun hobby for me.

I’ve decided to do a segment on making very easy handmade cards.  Sure, they can be very complicated and time consuming, but they don’t have to be. When I started out, I had virtually no equipment – just a couple of stamps and a stamp pad.  I’ll come up with some very simple designs that you can do at home.

I look forward to bringing this segment to you, and I hope you do too!

Do It The Way Grandma Did

I write historical romance and it requires a lot of research. During this research I have stumbled upon some interesting housekeeping ideas that are still relevant if you wish to save money and the environment. Toss away your expensive chemicals and do it the way grandma did.

In my Do It The Way Grandma Did segment I will be regularly posting ideas.

Did you know that half a cup of white vinegar mixed with warm water will wash your ceramic floor tiles and wooden floorboards and leave them looking great?

In upcoming segments I will reveal more housekeeping tips, and give you the recipes for some of grandma’s favourite food.
