My novel, Fiery Possession, has received a new cover and has just been released again. It is what I would call an Aussie Western. There is very little difference between frontier America and frontier Australia, as both had a large single male population. Isolation, danger and loneliness dogged their footsteps. The ratio between men and respectable young women was great, so competition to win the heart of a woman was steep.
Only a fine line divides love and hate, and when the hero and heroine step over it they create a firestorm of passion and betrayal.
Jo Saunders, a fiery American beauty, arrives in frontier Australia to save her brother’s debt- ridden farm. She clashes with wealthy rancher, Luke Campton, but neither of them can deny the attraction sizzling between them. After Jo is involved in his brother’s death, Luke seeks revenge by forcing her to become his mistress. Branded a rich man’s whore and ostracized by the townsfolk, pride is the only thing between Jo and total degradation.
Hate, lust and murder. How can Jo and Luke overcome these obstacles and allow love to flourish?
